In the Family Area

The Parks Canada Urban Outreach Team brings fun, educational activities based on experiences that are offered at Parks Canada National Parks and Historic Sites in Mainland Nova Scotia. Participants young and old will always leave with fresh inspiration to get outside and explore Canada's National Parks and National Historic Sites. There will be hands-on activities that will engage your playful side while you learn about Canadian nature and culture.

All performances / activities are free to Gardens visitors.
